Introducing...Emma!
As always, we're participating in the Canada Summer Jobs Initiative and have hired Emma Thompson!
Emma will be working with the staff and students of PELC during July and August 2011. She hails from Belleville and studies Biochemistry and English Literature at McGill University in MontrĂ©al. This summer, her responsibilities include helping Keith out in the classroom, planning Loonies for Literacy with Lori, participating in Thursday Group activities, providing one-on-one math and science support to students and copious amounts of marking and photocopying. Emma can be found at the desk to the right of the door in the office, flitting around the classroom on Mondays and Tuesdays, and trying to warm up in the sun at the picnic table on her lunch break. She looks forward to meeting and working with the students of PELC and helping them achieve their goals. Here’s to an exciting summer of learning opportunities!
